YSL Gunna drops a surprise EP, as he warms us up for Drip Season 3.

The perpetually dripping maestro, Gunna, shocked the trap music scene when he dropped his EP. The EP came as an even bigger shock, as he had been promoting the release of his upcoming mixtape, Drip Season 3.

He first burst onto the scene last summer, after providing a verse on Young Thug’s hit, Floyd Mayweather. After this, he released two tapes, Drip Season 1 and 2, which gathered him a lot of attention, due to his unique melodic and harmonic flow.

This short EP (it only contains 7 songs), executively produced by Atlantan producer Wheezy, shows a more matured Gunna; although he is probably most well known for his flow, he shows an improvement and maturing in lyrical ability here.

The EP contains one feature, being provided by his label’s (YSL Records) founder, Young Thug.

Still continue to watch out for Drip Season 3, as it is still set to be released very soon!
