UNDRHUNGER [@UNDRLNDN] raising awareness of youth homelessness and hunger

UNDRLNDN is run by a community of young Londoners and aims to unite Londoners under 25 to end youth homelessness and hunger with regular monthly events. They also kick-start ,connect, and create work for independent London based filmmakers and creatives.

Anna-Marie Descartes and Jack Matthew will be hosting UNDRHUNGER at Rich Mix on the 8th of November. Grab yourself a ticket for £10. All profits from the event will raise money for CentrePoint UK. The team are also sleeping homeless in the days running up to the event to create awareness  about the issue and stand by those facing these hurdles on a daily basis.

Some of London’s emerging up and coming talents in music and film will be taking a stand for those that are less fortunate. Check out performances from artists like Diamantina, Renné, Civil & Nics, Rhythm of Men and Russeni. See premiere screenings of short films by young London filmmakers delving into the topic of youth homelessness. There will be a Q&A session with artist Abondance Matanda and Blogger/radio host Camille Ukpanah will be talking about her experiences being pregnant and homeless in London.

At the event, you can donate non-perishable food items and toiletries to their foodbank collection and dig into your wallet for the cause and grab yourself an exclusive UNDRHUNGER t-shirt.
