Since the release of his second EP, ‘Before We Begin’ claiming the top 5 position on BBC 1Xtra’s, Jamz Supernova Top 5 EP rundown and 1Xtra’s ‘Best Online Finds’ Jords hasn’t fallen short of proving to the world why he is one to watch for 2018.

And with the release of his latest video to track ‘Before We Begin’ we have no doubt in our minds that his distinctive flow matched with his storytelling puts him as a firm contender to take the crown.

Illustrating a blend between classic hip-hop, R&B and poetry, Jords has demonstrated a range that is distinguishing himself from the rest. The South London native has taken to what appears to be an abandoned warehouse enclosed with graffiti for this video whilst his calm flow and piano backed beat can be heard.

With lyrics such as “23 and I know what I’ll do forever, either I do it different or I do it better” Jords shows assertiveness in his ability in himself and his career whilst reflecting on his youth, choices and more with his bars.

We reckon he’s one to keep an eye out for, don’t believe us? Watch the visuals to ‘Before We Begin’ above.
