On Wednesday A-COLD-WALL* released a new capsule collection exclusively on Matches Fashion. Matches adds to the growing list of top retailers that have hosted ACW capsule collection, including Nike and SSENSE.

Capsule

The collection consists of seventeen items, all consisting of a distinctive cut and sew style. The colour palette mainly consists of black, white and off-white. With ACW being the high-end brand that is has become, the exclusive item prices reflect this. With the wool-blend coat retailing at £1,410. Two of the accessories on the list that I am tipping to become statement pieces in time to come is the Technical hooded gilet and the Technical running cap. Both items can be paired with streetwear outfits to give them a more tech wear feel.

ACW

A-COLD-WALL* is an English streetwear brand founded by Samuel Ross in 2015. The brand was created as a response to London street culture and the Zeitgeist of Britains working class. a healthy stockist has been made and the brand is going from strength to strength. One notable piece by ACW is their sneaker in collaboration with Nike. There are a few variants of the Nike Air force One that has been designed by ACW and was released in very small numbers. These sneakers were very hard to get hold of and are highly sought after. Over the past week, photos have been leaked of an upcoming style of Nike x ACW Air Force, which has sent people into a frenzy trying to find out more and more details.

Nike

Continuing the collaboration between Nike and ACW, Samuel uploaded a photo to his personal Instagram, showing the Nike, ACW and Architectural Association School of Architecture, with a caption of:

“Nike x A-COLD-WALL* in partnership with Architectural Association School of Architecture.”

There is a second picture accompanying the post, which show what looks to be a floor plan, with a handwritten note saying, “3 tiered installation.” followed by more writing which is hard to work out. This is clearly the first details being announced of another event in collaboration of the brands. Possibly a teaser of where the next sneaker will be released?
