BERRS is a collaborative project by artist/creative OVIE, and multidisciplinary artist DKFASH. The Black, female duo’s first performance was actually debuted at Mr Eazi’s ‘Life is Eazi’ Culture Fest at Camden Roundhouse in September and received an overwhelming response.
Introducing BERRS a showcase of five conceptual exhibitions curated by Ovie & Dkfash. A blend of fashion and art, the event will ignite conversations on topics that cover celebrating black femininity, the rawness of black love, mental health and conquering our fears.
There will be performances and presentations from creatives ranging from music and dance, to film and spoken word. Some of the artists taking part include RM. MOSES, ELFA SHIMONA and SILVERTONE as well as music from MOBO Nominee DJ JULS.
With such a heavy male presence in the arts and entertainment arena, this event provides a much needed platform for both male and female BAME creatives, to showcase their various art forms.
If you enjoy expanding your creative field and want to connect with other artists from London, be sure to check out the BERRS Exhibition on the 25th of November.
