If you’ve been reading GUAP, you’ll know we released our ‘female 30’ article which featured some amazing women. With it being international women’s month we think it’s only right to champion the ladies we think are doing bits for the culture.  Not that we don’t champion women anyway (just saying). Women are great and as you can imagine there’s too many to mention but there’s one girl out there who may not have been on our female 30 list but still deserves some light.

Jade avia, is a presenter, DJ, radio host and event organiser. Jade is the official DJ for the one and only other female boss Stefflon Don, she is the founder of the Hungover jams whereby GUAP had the pleasure of attending their 4^th one earlier this month, she does radio every week and hosts events. Now we all know that keeping up with the music and entertainment industry can be a lot, especially the underground and urban scene. But Jade is definitely a public figure who knows her stuff and being the girl with her ears to the ground she always gives her audience new talent to watch out for as well as supporting the sick talent we already have out there. Jade has been on radio stations such as radar radio,and currently has shows on rinse and capital 1xtra.

As mentioned before GUAP had the pleasure of attending Hungover jams on 2^nd March 2017, although we were not able to stay and enjoy the whole show we saw some amazing talent and got down to some jams. The likes of Jack James, Miraa May and of course Novelist were on the line up. Alongside them was DJ JVN playing tunes the whole night.

The new talent that was on the line up like; Jack James and Kaidi the guy who showed us a new type of jazz  is the talent you guys should defo keep your eyes and ears open for.
