UK Afrobeats pioneer[ @mistasilvaF2D] ‘s new album finds light in darkness

UK Afrobeats pioneer Mista Silva talks battles, trials and tribulations in his latest album ‘Out of The Darkest’.

‘Out Of The Darkest’ features previously released singles ‘Strong Bow’, ‘Murda’ and ‘Feel My Wave’, which were all playlisted on Spotify and Apple Music.

Since releasing his debut project ‘Full Vim’ in 2012 Mista Silva has gone from strength to strength in ‘Let It Off’ and ‘Let It Off 2’.

Two years in the making  and working with the likes of Doneo, Penthouse music and Fanatix his newest 14 track project proves Mista Silva is in this game for the long haul.

When asked how he thought people would react to the album’s content Mista Silva said:

“I just believed in it…I’m trying to bring uplifting music to the platform, so when I listen to that music…you’re inspired to keep going…God wouldn’t give you that vision if it wasn’t meant to happen”

“Out Of The Darkest means there is still life and beauty in dark times, often in dark periods of life we find our best selves as we are challenged to overcome the difficulties we may face. Out of the Darkest is seen as the fuel for that journey, every dark chapter opens a new day and creativity – like human life itself-begins in darkness.”

At a time where Afroswing is dominating our mainstream we need to remember to show support to those who’ve carried it thus far.
