[@TE_dness] Is Lethal On Latest Mad About Bars

TE dness’ recent Mad About Bars freestyle highlights that the work rate hasn’t slowed down for the act.

Mad About Bars has been a platform that has made more than a few careers, as well as severely boosting others. For TE the platform has only solidified his skill. His latest visit is not his first Mad About Bars, as he previously featured on one with Solo Ldn. This was subsequently taken down when Solo chose to go down the religious route. TE dness however, manages to deliver on his own with ease.

Wordplay, delivery, and charisma – this freestyle has it all. On a platform that has become seemingly dominated by drill rappers, TE stands as a marker of diverse sounds.

“Say my affirmations out loud so let me talk it then/ I need a half a m for her before my daughters 10/ And that’s mandatory/ I need a seat at the table for everybody on my life that was standing for me/ And standing with me…”

Traversing a haunting beat the clarity with which he delivers is second to none. Despite packing bars with words and delivering at impressive speeds, the listener can always hear what he has to say. This is something that all artists should aspire to as deliver; half the battle sometimes is getting your audience to understand you, even Ghetts mentions this in his Daily Duppy. Here, with TE, the subject matter is his life and some very personal aspects of it too as well as some scatterings of the trap in there in places. TE demonstrates that he really is a lyrical rapper and one that has very few rivals.

The act equally shows the potential of the Mad About Bars format, he not only delivered a great performance but also used the opportunity to promote his second project of 2019. His first project this year, Full Circle, was incredibly well-received, his next project is the follow up to 2016s Trap Nominated. He teased that this release would be coming in an interview early last year. Titled Trap Nominated Too (2) expect the release before this year is out.
