Teaser images of the highly anticipated collaboration between Nike and Maharishi have been uploaded onto Instagram. Releasing on the 30th November, images have yet to surface from the collection, leaving fans guessing as to what the designs would be.
We now have an idea as to what the design styles and colourways will be, but people are still trying to figure out what the models will be. From the images uploaded, it seems there will be 5 different models, all brandishing different designs.
Maharishi is a London based brand, founded in 1994 by Hardy Blechman. Creating garments with upcycled military clothing. One thing the brand is very well known for is its insane attention to detail with their large-scale embroidery. Lots of their garments are blazoned with very intricate embroidered Japanese dragons.
This collaboration isn’t the first time the two brands have joined forces. Back in 2012 they together released a version of the Nike Terminator high top sneaker. In an orange and white colourway with a grey dragon image on the heel of the shoe.
