[@Bagzthe1st] drops the visuals for his new track ‘Tek Time’

East London rapper Bagz is kicking off this year in style by dropping the visuals for his new track ‘TEK TIME’.

The track was produced by Dada, who has previously worked with Wretch 32 and Mr Eazi. As well as: Kojo Funds, Fuse ODG, Mista Silva and Sarkodie just to name a few. The visuals for ‘Tek Time’ sees Bagz linking up with the exciting new video director, Jake Japan once again. The longtime collaborator with Bagz is best known for his work with the likes of Headie One, Stylo G and Margs.

The rapper penned the track himself. Speaking about the inspiration behind ‘Tek Time’ and the visuals that come with it, Bagz says: “The record is simply about me approaching a girl that I like. And professing my love for her. For the video, I wanted us to tell a story that could bring the track further to life. It’s a romantic and intimate one, and the themes that cut across the video, focus on love, intimacy, the colourfulness of young romance, and being on a higher level with the one you love”.

Success for the rising star seems imminent. Following on from his recent ‘Vibes’ collaboration with MOBO Award nominee Moelogo. He’s still riding high on the back of his underground hits ‘Snapchat’ and ‘Popular Person’. Which has seen him gain mainstream exposure from the likes of music powerhouses like Spotify and Capital Xtra. As well as becoming a high profiled individual on the underground scene.

2019 is shaping up to be a big year for Bagz and the release of ‘Tek Time’ could be the breakout hit the breakout hit he’s been waiting for.
