[@example] drops new track ‘Back For Me’

Example is back with new single ‘Back For More.’

‘Back For More’ harks back to late 90’s pirate radio with its freestyled lyrics and garage beat with a Heartless Crew sample and no-nonsense bassline.

This is the first of three lead tracks to be released consecutively across three weeks from his forthcoming mixtape, ‘Bangers & Ballads’. It will be his first body of work since 2014.

Example explains: “I just wanted to keep things simple and do what I love doing. Which is big club bangers that tell a story. After my deal with Ministry of Sound ended, I spent a lot of time thinking and talking about what direction I should be going in. Rather than releasing music, I decided to stop over analysing things, went independent via AWAL Music Recordings and just have some fun.”

With AWAL, Example has been exploring his new-found creative freedom by collaborating with the likes of JAUZ, DJ Zinc, Sonny Fodera, Banx & Ranx, and Karen Harding to name a few. Example will perform across the globe this summer at a plethora of UK festivals including Rize and SW4 as well as hosting the official SW4 after-party ‘Pandemonium’

‘Bangers & Ballads’ shows us that Example is refreshed, vitalised and after all ready to rave.
