[@MaleekBerry] Did it for the culture last night at @ScalaLondon

Maleek Berry gave us an epic show in London last night at Scala for his Sold Out Last Daze of Summer London Show.

British-Nigerian Maleek Berry gave us a night to remember last night for his first headline show in London in which he stayed to true to his artistry, culture and city. Hosting the night’s events was comedian Eddie Kadi; who kicked off the night off with some current hits and banter in typical Eddie Kadi style.

The line up set the vibe and gave the impression that Berry wanted to hold up his producer roots. He had fellow producers Juls and Legendury Beats open the show which made the show feel like more of a rave than a concert. Juls spun some of his own hits like Early and set the tone as well afrobeats duo Legendury Beatz dropping a few classic bangers like Ginger before the man of the hour himself came out and finished off the show in style.

Berry performed tracks from his EP Last Daze of Summer like Let me Know, Nuh Let Go, Flexin, Eko Miami and of course Kontrol and Been Calling as well an exclusive of his new track Bend It. He also performed Juice by YCEE which had the crowd going wild.

Berry paid homage to some of the homegrown UK talent emerging out of London by bringing out favourites Not3s  who performed his hits Aladdin, and Addison Lee and Yxng Bane who performed his own hit, FIne WIne and his remix of Shape of You.

This show was probably one of the best shows I have been to in a while, the energy and vibe were electric and go on to show not only London but the world that Afrobeats is evolving, has durability and is definitely here to stay.

Be sure to listen to his new track Bend It.
