[@NafeSmallz] orchestrates huge UK x US collab on new track ‘Broken Homes’

Nafe Smallz is a name back on everyone’s lips after his new release ‘Broken Homes’.

Nafe Smallz is extremely underrated despite his proven staying power in the scene. Having had features with the likes of Chip and Black The Ripper, Nafe‘s name has definitely been around the scene for a while but hasn’t had its time yet. After releasing ‘Broken Homes’ this should definitely change.

The track enlists two auto-tune heavyweights,  M Huncho and perhaps more impressively. Gunna. A Gunna feature right now is huge, considering his position as Young Thug‘s YSL Records poster boy. He has proven he deserves this in his own right, as he has collaborated with his mentor Young Thug, Lil Baby, and even Travis Scott. Gunna’s feature on Scott‘s number 1 selling album ASTROWORLD only furthered his appeal, since his addition to ‘Yosemite’ was the highlight of the track, despite Travis‘ participation and a verse from Nav.

Off the back of that, you’d expect Gunna to have stolen the show on ‘Broken Homes’. But on a track that was essentially a battle between auto-tune gods, Nafe Smallz rightly steals the show. Granted, he has the most real estate on the track, but if we just take his verse – it was the best of the three verses. That says a lot, looking at the calibre of artists he’s competing with.  Nafe Smallz is doing surprisingly well at the moment with two of his tracks being featured in Spotify‘s Rap UK playlist, one of which being ‘Broken Homes’.

M Huncho and Gunna do their thing on the track, with Huncho putting in the best guest performance. A big shout out to Blasian Beats on the instrumental, which was perfect for the trio. The video’s visuals are simple and to the point, but they are well shot and reflect the lyrics well. Often, UK & US collabs don’t even manage to get a video, so it was also great to see all three artists featured in the visual.

Stay tuned to GUAP to keep up to date with what all three artists are working on in the future.
