@TheBugzyMalone Releases New EP #KINGOFTHENORTH

Today, Bugzy Malone released his eponymous EP ‘King of The North’, via his own Ill Gotten Records (distributed by ADA). His notable return has already seen his recent track ‘ Through the Night’ playlisted at Radio 1 and he was the face of ‘New music Friday’ on Spotify this morning. Stream here

Guap were lucky enough to preview the track listing last week at a listening party hosted by Rude Kid. It boasts production from Honorable C.N.O.T.E. (A$AP Rocky, Gucci Mane), Z-Dot, S-X, Toddla T and Shift K3Y plus features from Tom Grennan, DJ Luck and MC Neat.

Proudly Mancunian, Bugzy received the ultimate Manchester endorsement: Noel clearing his use of Oasis lyrics in ‘Memory Lane.’ The EP title ‘King Of North’ reflects the nickname that Bugzy’s fans have given him. As he explains:

“That was something that I felt proud of, because being from the north of England, there’s not been many people that have got the success in the music industry that I’ve had. Without the support of the fans it might not have happened, because it would have been easier sometimes to be like, ‘You know what, I’ll go back onto the streets and live in the shadows where I’m not massively exposed.’ It’s something I’m proud of, something I stand for, and what I represent.”
