FW18 collections have made the end of summer less tragic. The new season entails classic prints, simple cuts, and large logos. Exciting collaborations from this season include Nike, A -COLD-WALL*. and Supreme.
This isn’t the first collaboration between Supreme and COMME des GARÇONS, the brand collaborated with the fashion house for an SS17 collection. The Fall 2018 collection which drops today (13th September 2018) consists of leather jackets, cotton shirts, and wool jumpers. Key pieces in the collection include t-shirts and jackets with a sliced logo graphic and graffitied shirts.
Creative director of A-COLD-WALL*. Samuel Ross teams up with Oakley once again for FW18. Samuel Ross mixes his futuristic, mechanical aesthetic with the Italian sportswear brand. The collection includes backpacks, tees, and coats. In Samuel style, he uses reflective fabrics and abstract shapes to infuse his look into the label. This is somewhat the perfect collaboration as Ross’s industrial method of design is teamed up with a performance brand. The collection is available on 14th September.
Skepta and Nike have teamed up again with the Air Max Deluxe SK. The Air Max Deluxe SK was released on 8th September and sold out before Skepta could even share it on his story! The black and white trainers feature a static TV print with the words ‘ Never Sleep on Tour’.
Eastpak has joined forces with Jun Takahashi, designer and founder of Undercover. Eastpak x Undercover focuses on western subculture viewed from a Tokoyo lens. The oversized backpacks feature an iconic print from Stanley Kubrick’s cult tour de force, 2001: A Space Odyssey.
